The philosophy

Your own identity deserves weight in your own life.

Officially A Trend is not a program, a method, or a diagnosis. It is a position: that the person actually living your life should have a say in it.

01

We begin with what is here now.

You may arrive knowing only that something doesn't feel completely like you anymore. That is enough to start. We are not going to hand you a cause, a culprit or a story about how you got here.

02

Recognition, not classification.

No types. No stages. No conditions with our name on them. We put careful language around ordinary human experiences and then get out of the way, because the point is for you to look inward — not for us to stand across from you explaining you.

03

Other people still matter.

Advice matters. Relationships matter. Responsibility matters. Compromise matters. Giving your own identity weight is not the same as refusing everyone else's.

04

You can change and still be yourself.

Growth is not betrayal. Sometimes you change before the life around you has had time to catch up, and the distance you feel is simply that lag.

05

The practice is small and repeatable.

Not a transformation. A habit of noticing: what happened, what it asked of you, how it moved you, and what is worth carrying forward.

You can still know who you are while giving yourself less and less say in how you live.

That is usually what the distance is. Not amnesia. Not failure. Just a slow reduction in how much weight your own voice carries in your own decisions. Which means it can also be reversed slowly, in ordinary moments, without reinventing anything.

Two places to put this into practice.
